About the Role The Scaled Engagement and Growth team manages all the scaled products and programs that lay the foundations for the engagement, growth and performance across all US&C Restaurant Partners. This team works closely with Product to launch and scale new products (e.g., Ads, Marketing tech, Restaurant Manager). You will lead a team of 5-7 ops managers, focused on scaled engagement and growth of Uber Eats restaurant partners. In this role you will solve a variety of business problems. You will grow the Ads platform for Uber Eats US&C. You will lead Marketing Tech strategy, drive product adoption and organize national campaigns. Marketing tech includes Offers, Loyalty programs, and new innovations. Overall, you will work closely with the Tech team to launch and scale new products for restaurant partners. What You'll Do • Build, inspire and lead a team of operations managers focused on making our top restaurant partners successful on our platform. Motivate the team to achieve higher levels of business impact • Effectively navigate a matrixed environment and collaborate with Product, Customer Support, Operations teams, Marketing and local territory teams • Drive analytical frameworks to optimize strategic decisions and build scalable tools and dashboards to assess impact and improve decision making • Develop, optimize and execute a principled approach to manage each partner's performance on the Uber Eats platform and drive business strategies Basic Qualifications • 6+ years of experience in related field, including banking, consulting, technology, analytics, operations, and strategy Preferred Qualifications • Minimum of 6 years of professional work experience; high-growth operations or startup experience is strongly preferred • Superior team leadership skills and people management experience Demonstrated ability to develop team members effectively, set team goals, guide people to their highest levels of performance, and through challenging situations • Entrepreneurial spirit, bias for action and comfort with ambiguity • Skilled at balancing between short-term needs and long-term investments • Deeply operational mindset and proven track record in process optimization & execution • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as stakeholder management and project management • Very strong Excel / Tableau / data management skills - SQL proficiency and/or ability to pick it up highly preferred | |
