About the Role

We are looking for an Analytics Specialist to join our Ops Enablement Krakow team. This role will contribute to and lead various analytical projects for the Rides business.

Analytics Specialist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, working closely with HQ partners to conceptualize and design tools, scripts, and dashboards. In this role, you will perform various analytical tasks such as gathering data, calculating KPIs and metrics, data visualization, and designing self-sustaining backend systems to support continuous uptime on delivered projects!

This is a junior role, ideally suitable for those who'd like to start their career in data analysis.

What You'll Do

• Execute high-impact projects on behalf of Rides Central Operations; design & lead smaller scale projects independently
• Responsible for working with Central Operations to execute analytical tasks, both in terms of creation and maintenance, for queries, dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis.
• Collect feedback we receive from the Rides Central Operations team on current projects and processes to identify inefficiencies and conduct root cause analyses to gather insights and build a strategy for improvement

Requirements:

Knowledge of SQL; you should be able to write a lean and effective SQL query to retrieve data;

GSheet/GScript proficiency; you must be capable of processing the retrieved data;

Ability to build visualizations for the data you work with;

Strong Analytical and Statistical skills - An analytical and data approach to solving complex problems

Ability to work on your own initiative

Excellent teammate who can work with other specialists in the team on group projects, members of other Uber organizations, team leaders, etc.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Self-motivated and independent

Bonus Points

Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma

Knowledge of Agile or DevOps Methodology

Knowledge of Python
