Uber is looking for a Senior Program Specialist to support employee experience programs that range from engagement, recognition, wellbeing, and diversity & inclusion. This role supports a diverse set of projects and programs that enable the US&C Community Operations team to continue to grow, develop and foster a great company culture.

What the Candidate Will Need + Bonus Points

• Champion our culture, company mission, vision, purpose and values to internal and external audiences
• Build hybrid workforce experiences that enhance our culture, build empathy and the connection between employees
• Be attuned to the specific needs of Uber's culture, identify root causes of engagement issues, and collaborate with Program Manager to address them
• Manage very task driven programs; coordinating logistics and planning events in various Uber cities
• Confidently present material to large audiences virtually and in-person
• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism when partnering with Senior and Executive Leadership
• Build and sustain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams on identifying, documenting and adopting best practices for employee engagement and retention
• Create team or org-wide communications on events and initiatives using various formats including internal marketing and social media platforms

\\---- Basic Qualifications ----

• 3+ years in people or project management, office management, team administration, event planning; ideally from a startup/tech environment
• High energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism
• Ability to demonstrate an understanding of multiple facets of diversity: cultural, ethnic, racial, religious, gender, ability, educational, age, sexual orientation, sexual identity, and other differences that make us unique
• Proven project management skills (plan and execute projects with multiple work streams and dependencies) and the ability to manage tasks involving multiple businesses to meet aggressive deadlines
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally and efficiently with internal and external partners
• Superior organizational skills and impeccable follow-through on tasks
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills. An outstanding problem solver who is solution-oriented and has a genuine interest in helping.
• Visionary skills that will push programs further, continuing to prove the value of programs.
• A high level of proficiency with Google Suite Applications is desirable

Bonus points if:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Communication
• Project Management Certification
• Experience motivating a large hourly and salary workforce
