About the Role

Rider Growth is a new and growing product team that is tasked with holistically optimizing Uber's key rider funnels across core mobility products, globally. We are a small, nimble team that is empowered to define how Uber looks at and solves for its end-to-end consumer funnels. We seek to deeply empathize with the needs of our users and focus the company on the highest ROI opportunities to improve funnel conversion. We work in two modes: (a) directly with our dedicated engineering team to rapidly define and execute on high potential product improvements and growth experiments and then scale out improvements across markets, and (b) in partnership with multiple other product and operations teams to execute experiments and improvements requiring cross-team support or that need to be led by other areas.

What the Candidate Will Do:

As a senior PM on the team, you will be responsible for driving the vision of the Global Growth team, considering local customer needs, cultural nuances, and competitive environments to help our business grow its loyal user base. You'll uncover user problems, define and build solutions, and measure their impact. As part of the Growth team, we expect you to be able to move quickly, working with your team to improve the user experience and user new learnings to continue leveling up our product. Key areas of focus include:

• Identify and prioritize opportunities across key markets, globally.
• Partner closely with regional operations teams to gain a deep understanding of local users.
• Drive product changes to improve the experience for our users worldwide and key business metrics.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of product management experience delivering highly successful and innovative products with your fingerprints all over them and you're deeply proud of what you've accomplished.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Leadership Experience: Prior experience setting and delivering on a strategy you crafted, working with multiple cross-functional collaborators and partners, while being accountable for outcomes.
• Data chops: You find a way to get the data you need and whip it into an insightful story with no help. You know how to use this data to make decisions without getting stuck in analysis paralysis.
• Technical chops: You have collaborated with engineers in developing the technical architecture of the products you have built, and are comfortable discussing requirement and scope tradeoffs.
• Strategic: You can craft a coherent product vision, multi-year strategy, and quarterly roadmap that your team and the business rallies behind.
• Business-minded: You are passionate about building businesses, not features. You not only own the user metrics but also own and optimize business performance metrics.
