In this new role, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team consisting of engineering, product, marketing, and operation managers to build impactful datasets, repeatable processes for extracting value from our huge quantity of marketing data, create monitoring systems and analyze data. You should have comfort working with different stakeholders like marketing, engineering and product teams.

You possess a passion for improving techniques, processes, tracking, analytical insights, and technology used by marketing to achieve our daring goals. You will help address the complex challenges of reporting, experiment design, budget allocation, marketing efficiency, return on investment, user behavior, and channel effectiveness using innovative machine learning models.

\\---- What the Candidate Will Do ----

• Develop and handle a scalable and reliable global marketing data platform.
• Help build data ingestion pipelines, integrations in an agile manner using technologies such as Apache Spark and HIVE.
• Work closely with data engineering, data technologists, data scientists and analysts to understand gaps in our datasets and propose solutions to fill them in.
• Work with engineering and marketing technology to maintain and operate the data pipelines underlying the datasets this team crafts/owns
• Build data models, tables, data visualizations, and automated analytics & reporting that operationalize insights for marketings
• Develop Data Quality checks for source and target data sets. Develop UAT plans and conduct QA
• Help understand our data by performing exploratory and quantitative analytics, data mining, and discovery.
• Translate marketing requirements into technical specifications
• Drive the development of prioritized analytics solutions including problem definition, solution design and execution

\\---- Basic Qualifications ----

• 3+ years of previous experience using SQL to analyze and interpret data
• 3+ years of proven ability using Python or R for data manipulation and/or data science
• Experience in paid media analytics is a plus!
• Strong understanding of marketing and advertising including TV, OOH, Radio and digital platforms such as Google, Facebook, Youtube, etc
• Detailed understanding of capabilities offered by publishers including ad products, brand lift and measurement solutions
• Understanding of econometric modeling and how to apply models to measure marketing efficiency and optimize spend, flighting and mix to improve return on ad spend (i.e., MMM)
• Understanding of experimental design (such as A/B experiments and Brand Lift tests) and statistical methods
• Ability and experience in extracting insights from data, and summarizing findings / takeaways
• Experience with data visualization (i.e. Tableau, Mixpanel, Looker, or similar)
• Strong knowledge of statistics, this includes understanding of various testing methodologies including A/B testing and causal impact
• Speed, resourcefulness, and a go-getter mentality!
• AdTech experience is a plus
• Someone who is willing to give new insights and articulate them to a variety of business partners and not just complete on existing ones
• Bachelors degree in Math, Economics, Bioinformatics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or other quantitative fields.
