Uber is looking for Process Optimization Specialist to expand its Team in Krakow.

The Krakow Center of Excellence is taking a new highway to become a major Technology Hub in Central & Eastern Europe, focusing on Process Optimization, Data Analytics & Automation.

About the role

You will execute Business Processes that are essential to keep the Uber Operations in good functioning order!

You will need to ensure your actions are run on time and accurately, meeting the expectations in terms of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Quality, by following the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

While executing these Processes, you will identify areas of improvement, conduct root-cause analyses, build data-driven strategies and implement your enhancements, iteratively and incrementally.

To drive these continuous improvements, you will work closely in collaboration with other Team Members (Data Analysts, Automation Specialists) as well as Subject Matter Experts.

The mission of the Team is to centralize, optimize and even automate the execution of these Processes for major Uber Products (Uber Rides, Uber Eats), covering different Mega-Regions (United States & Canada, Europe, Middle-East, Africa).

This is a great opportunity if you want to further develop your analytical skills, learn how to enhance processes by writing SQL queries, using Google scripts and create actionable insights for large-scale operations, with concrete impacts.

These experiences gained as Process Optimization Specialist may also, going forward, open doors for plenty of new opportunities as Data Analyst (with SQL), Automation Specialist (with Python) or even with Uber across the world, via the Uber Mobility Program.

We're offering a hybrid model of working (50% based out of our Krakow office, 50% work from home).

You will do:

• Execute Business Processes within defined SLAs
• Maintain high quality of execution
• Proactively flag potential process inefficiencies
• Build insights on how to optimize the processes you execute
• Improve your technical skills to match evolving business needs

You will need:

• Good Knowledge of Google Sheets (reporting & trend analysis)
• Basic knowledge of SQL
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent written and spoken English (fluent)
• Ability to work on your own initiative (proactively) or in a group (excellent teammate)
• Motivation to learn all along the way and improve continuously!

At Uber, we reimagine the way the world moves for the better. The idea was born on a snowy night in Paris in 2008, and ever since then, our DNA of reimagination and reinvention carries on. We've grown into a global platform moving people and things in ever-expanding ways, taking on big problems to help drivers, riders, delivery partners, and eaters make movement happen at the push of a button for everyone, everywhere.

We welcome people from all backgrounds who seek the opportunity to help build a future where everyone and everything can move independently. If you have the curiosity, passion, and collaborative spirit, work with us, and let's move the world forward, together.
